Pentek CW-F sediment filters are made out of a long-lasting polypropylene cord that is entwined around a sturdy polypropylene core. These cartiridges offer a practical way to reduce microscopic sediment, including bits of silt, sand, scale and rust.
These string-wound water filter cartridges are designed to manage temperatures of up to 165° F (73.9° C), and should be capable of processing water flow in the range of 7 - 10 gallons per minute with little to no pressure decline.
Pentek CW-F sediment filters are meant to be used on many types of fluids including municipal and residential water supplies, as well as for industrial purposes for the filtering of water and other liquids.
