CW-50 cartridges are manufactured from a strong polypropylene cord that is wrapped around a stiff polypropylene core. These filters are excellent at reducing sediment such as sand, silt, rust and scale particles.

CW-50 filters are a cost effective filter designed with a standard wound pattern around the center.

The CW-50 string-wound filters are capable of tolerating high temperatures up to 165° F (73.9° C), and the cartridges will handle flow rates of 7 - 10 GPM with little to no impact on water pressure.

Pentek's CW-50 cartridges are suited for a vast array of water filtration applications, including city water, residential well water and numerous different fluids for industrial use.
