This is the genuine original equipment replacement UV power supply / controller / ballast for NSF-Validated Trojan UVMax Model Pro 10 UV sterilizers manufactured between 2008 and present. If your system was manufactured prior to 2008, click here. Systems manufactured prior to 2008 require a different controller, part # 650629-010.
This ballast is compatible with Viqua's true flow-based dose monitoring technology and features its innovative LightWise technology which reduces lamp intensity during periods without water flow. This reduces mineral scale formation on the UV sleeve, reduces water heating, and saves energy. These features require a Viqua flow meter. If your system does not have a Viqua flow meter, this ballast will still do everything that your current ballast does. Flow meters are available as an upgrade if you don't have one, please call us toll free at 1-866-376-2690 for details. These 2 new features are very much worth the upgrade.
