Filox Manganese Treatment Filter System

Changed deep 160Ft W/5.5 inch HD plastic casing-well water treatment systems every 2-3 years & still had problems. This new Filox system does a complete remove of Mn. the service water now after treatment is clear & tastes great. Best results we've had in 12 yrs. The extra expense cost because of the weight of Filox in handling & shipment is well worth it. You'll never be sorry.

We've had the Iron Rival with Filox installed for a few months and are completely happy with it. I installed it my self with their instructions. The iron stains on our white dishes are actually starting to fade!

My water was unbearable. Every sink tub and toilet of my house was brown with rust. I was feeling hopeless. Not to mention my hair felt like straw and broke off. Josh was so helpful. He probably took 10 calls from us before I even purchased the filter. He was so patient and informative. I don't know what is better the Amazing filter that changed my life by fixing this terrible red water or the customer service from this company. Now my hair is soft again and I'm looking forward to growing it long again. It was a pleasure to do business with them and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a whole house filter.

This Iron and H2S gas removal system works wonders. Refreshing the system daily has removed the H2S and Iron from our drinking water.

My Iron filter arrived quickly and following instructions was set up quickly. Only issue was no drain line included. Ran initial cycle and water went from yellow to clear. Great filter no issues after using a couple months.

I have well water that has lots of iron and the water smells of rotten eggs. My son in law's father mentioned he had a system that took care of his problems. He found the system on line for me. I bought it and gave it to my plumber to install. He was not familiar with it but he took the install directions and said he would put the system in. Within two days after the install there was a visible difference in the smell and no more iron stains in the sink or toilets. On my second month and I am totally pleased. My plumber is considering becoming a dealer. One of my smartest buys!

Love the product

I love the product, but found the instructions a little confusing around manually backwashing the system. You indicate in several areas wait 24 hours to do this. You might want to include this right in the main body of the instructions as there is no direction for 24h pause in the actual set up.

I am very pleased with the water quality results we are experiencing. No more rusty toilet tanks, or dog water bowls. No more black flecks of manganese – it is just wonderful. After having been quoted a ridiculous price to remove the sulfur smell from my cabins well water supply, I stumbled across this filter. After getting an airline reward voucher for getting off of the plane to a destination that I was heading to, I used that money that they gave me, to finally purchase this water filtration system. It has done the job! I paid A professional to install it. And it has gotten rid of 99% of the sulfur smell. Sometimes, I will smell a little bit after the water has not been turned on for a few days. Only initially though. It has been approximately two months, and so far so good! I was really worried if it could handle it. It has! Great product. Fair price.

It works, but....

So Product aside, the route to obtaining it was most frustrating with lots of excuses as to why the product was sitting with their shipper for weeks, and in the end, instead of being delivered, I had to take a day off work and retrieve from a local shipping agent. I would have taken care of shipping myself.
Now, the unit itself seems to work well in the iron/manganese and H2S removal, but the automatic backflush is so loud that there is no place in our 4700 square foot building that we cannot be jolted awake as it does two cycles of this at around midnight.
Unless you can find well sound-insulated area to install this, this feature is most unpleasant.
This filter DOES what it is supposed to, but the noise has me looking at other options.

I ordered 3 of these system and installed my self at our family cottages in Sauble Beach Ontario.
I am a Nurse Practitioner not a professional plumber and I was able to do it my self without any problems. The interaction with Sara Dubetz at homeplusproductswas superb. Delivery across the country was in time. No parts were missing. The water is not yellow and it does not smell as sulph anymore. Just read and follow the instruction to a T and you will be ok. I hope they will last more than 10 years as advertised.
I am planing to buy 2 more systems for my other 2 family members cottages if the Black Friday deals will be offered again this year.

Very knowledgeable and helpful personal and they actually saved me money, we had slightly elevated levels of arsenic with very high iron, they suggested using this filter as arsenic attaches to iron, after two weeks had the water tested and the iron and arsenic along with other items where gone, also we used to get a white calcium buildup on our ice maker, that is also gone. I installed the unit myself and was very easy for me, if your not handy hire a plumber.

I bought the IronRival w/Filox quite a while back. I don't believe in doing reviews 30, 60, or 90 days after purchase no matter how much the seller pesters me. The product needs to prove itself to me by dependably functioning and meeting all sales promises.
Installation and setup was fairly easy and straight forward. Rearranging some original plumbing did offer a couple challenges but handled easily.
My well water is very good to begin with. The unit was installed to remove the nasty hydrogen sulfide smell. It's performance has been exceptional. Not even a hint of the H2S is present.
It's now been a little over a year since installation and I am totally satisfied with my purchase.

We decided to buy this Unit after getting tired of seeing the Iron and our Green Sand Filter just wasn't doing it's job. After doing some research we decided to purchase this unit . the only mistake I made installing it , I didn't run it thru the backwash cycle first . The residue cleared up in about an hour Iron gone ! The one family member said the water taste better then bottle water from the store . I just can't wait to test the water now to see what the results are. Thanks Tanner!

No more scum ring in the bathtub!

We have about 9 ppm of iron in our well water, which makes lots of red rust in the system. This iron filter removes it all--no more scum ring in the bathtub! The filter came fast, was easy to install, and had very good directions included.
So far, and it's been working for a couple of months now, it's much better than the old greensand filter we used for many years. Also, the price was better than we could get locally for the same filter; the shipping was included. If it continues the good work, I would highly recommend it, at least for iron which was our only problem.

I recently purchased an Iron Filter from these people Iron Rival with Filox , it really worked well , nothing to add !It went from 1.4 to hardly nothing ! I liked dealing with these people so much . I decided to replace my old water softener with a new one from them . The sales people were very knowledgeable and didn't try to over sell me something I really didn't need . Just what they thought suited my needs . I installed everything myself with really no problems . System works great , good bye iron and good bye hard water !!!

We had a horrible problem with iron in our water.... it would come out of the tap looking like tea water! We even had a whole-house water treatment system and it still looked & tasted horrible! We installed the Iron Rival w/Filox system and within minutes we had crystal clear water!! No more discolored toilets, or drinking water!!!! Well worth the money!!!
