Question:How often does the this unit need replacement
Answer(s):

The Luminor UV ballast/controller is not considered a wear and tear part that requires regular replacement. It is generally only replaced in the event of a malfunction or damage. The expected life is very long. Many UV ballasts last up to 20 years. The UV lamp for the system should be replaced every 12 months, and the UV sleeve should be replaced every 2 to 3 years or if any haziness or mineral staining cannot be remedied by appropriate cleaning per the manufacturer's instructions.
