Question:What is the difference between cbc-10 filters and cfbc-10 filters?

The CFBC series uses a proprietary technology to place a powdered activated carbon into a cellulose-free synthetic fiber material, whereas the CBC Series is a traditional carbon block. The advantage of the proprietary design of the CFBC series is that it will offer less pressure loss (better flow rate performance) and longer life.

It is critical that only genuine Trojan Aquafine brand original equipment parts be used in your Aquafine system. It has come to our attention that a number of Chinese manufacturers are making knock-off replica UV parts. While they may physically fit in an Aquafine system, they are NOT compatible.

The use of Non-Genuine parts will void safety certifications (UL, CSA etc.) and damage other system components such as connectors, lamp plugs and ballasts leading to even higher operations and maintenance costs and increased maintenance. We only sell Genuine OEM replacement parts.
