So far so good but we'll see how long the lamp lasts. The previous one, from an older, now obsolete, filter gave out after only 5 months of service so I decided to go with a larger and more up to date unit. The S8QAPA would have been easy to install except that it is much longer than the unit it replaced so I had to do a couple of hours of replumbing plus switch pipe sizes. Oh well.
