Benefits of Countertop Water Filters

Countertop water filters have a variety of advantages over their undersink counterparts. The main advantage is that they are easily portable. Thus they make a perfect filtration system for your RV or camper, or if you are renting your home or plan to move in the near future. They are also very easy to set up originally as you simply screw the attachment onto your faucet and you're ready to go, avoiding any installation work.

Disadvantages of Countertop Water Filters

The main disadvantage of countertop water filters is that they take up space on your countertop. They also require hoses running from your faucet to the unit itself. Undersink or undercounter units avoid this waste of space by only having an extra faucet stick up through the sink itself.
